Rai was born on July 27, 1997...He is the son of Winston Benjamin and Jeanette Mason...He is a Political Science major at USC...When he isn’t sprinting and hurdling, Rai can often be found playing Fortnite, or enjoying the LA restaurant scene...At the NCAA championships he clocked 47.02 in the 400mH final, the second-fastest time in history....In the Tokyo Olympic 400m hurdles final, the greatest and deepest race in track and field history that stunned the world, Benjamin set an American record with a 46.17 for silver behind Karston Warholm’s world record 45.94.
